I suspect sometimes it doesn't really matter where we are on the journey, just that we are on it. Yes, I'll remind myself of that. :) ThanksAbigailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12051102407708751849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7420872772406081253.post-39734363057936096372012-09-25T19:50:32.529-07:002012-09-25T19:50:32.529-07:00Thanks Shannon. Thanks for the reminder.Abigailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12051102407708751849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7420872772406081253.post-36161717275829278582012-09-24T19:22:08.282-07:002012-09-24T19:22:08.282-07:00Abigail, I agree with Shannon that God isn't l...Abigail, I agree with Shannon that God isn't looking at the form/graph to see where you are spiritually. And from my own experience, I know that the spiritual life can have its ups and downs, strong and weak times. For me, it never stays the same. I try to think of myself on a journey.

And sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees, to use a cliche. I can't tell where I am on the spiritual journey sometimes until I step back and look back and see where I've been.

Sorry if I'm rambling. I can relate so much with your concerns and worries. I don't think that is what God is looking for from you. But I have a weathered background with the church, so many might tell you not to listen to me. I think you just have to "be" sometimes. Look at the poem "Footprints" I think it speaks to this. ♥Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16133913970571235792noreply@blogger.com
